You are my sweetest downfall.

This was created by my sister. Talented bugger.

Oh Sunday, Sunday, a rare and pleasant day off.

So here I am. Writing a blog. After months of contemplating and battling with my own indecisiveness here I am. I thought it may be fun and if not, like my failed attempt at keeping a DeviantArt page going, I'll just forget about it and leave it to linger in the depths of the internet.

So today, a sunny sunday with no work ahead of me, I let my inner culture vulture take hold, and set off the for the National Gallery. Twas a lovely place, a pretty fabulous building with some pretty famous paintings. However, I do think the highlight was walking into the gift shop and finding Van Gogh stuffed toys with detatchable velcro ears...that's pretty magic.

I think that my little trip to the gallery may have drummed up some inspiration for me as well...Spanish folk style art. There was a lovely picture of some donkeys and beautiful sunsets, with amazing colours. So, in a desperate attempt to start something that vaguely resembles a portfolio, I called in to a lovely little art shop and bought a snazzy new sketchbook and some oil pastels. I'm such a sucker for art materials. But for now they are to remain in the carrier bag, as I have to be a domestic godess this evening and actually locate the floor of my room.

It's all fun and games eh?
