Bloooooooooomin marvellous...
I received these beauties from my sister a few weeks ago...a belated birthday pressie kind of thing...

They're from an amazing Brooklyn-based company called Tilly Bloom...they make lots of weird and wonderful trinkets. On my wishlist are these prettyful curiosities...

Goodbye next paycheque.
In other news...Happy Saint Davids Day! Or Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus if we're doing it properly! I celebrated with my lovely flatmates by making welsh-themed celebratory posters to decorate our living room, listening to a welsh-themed spotify playlist compiled by Will (think Goldie Lookin Chain, Stereophonics, Tom Jones etc) and having a few friends over for drinks and what later dissolved into an heated debate over Tim Burton films...lovely.

Poorly Clothes?
I have been in bed all weekend.
This is mainly due me having possibly the WORST SINUSES IN THE WORLD.
But, I have come to a realisation...the existence of 'poorly clothes'. These, I have discovered, are the clothes that I always seem to wear when I am ill. My so-called 'poorly outfit' seems to consist of leggings, knitted socks with happy cows on the front, and a big cosy knitted jumper. Pretty standard. I'm guessing there must be other poorly-clothes wearers out there...somewhere?

Festival festival festival...BESTIVAL?
I hate February.
This is mainly due to one specific factor; February is around the time that winter starts to get REALLY BORING...and I start to get pangs for a bit of sun. Which makes me think about summer...which makes me think about festivals.
One word...Bestival. Check this for a line up...
Echo and the Bunnymen
Four Tet
Hot Chip
Kitty, Daisy and Lewis
Dizzie Rascal
Mumford and Sons
Simian Mobile Disco
Fever Ray
Ellie Goulding
The Temper Trap
The xx
LCD Soundsystem...
aaaaaaah roll on September.

Oh the weather outside is frightful, and erm...it's not much better in here...
I don't know if turning 20 has basically turned me into an old woman, but I'm getting less and less enthused with 'the white stuff'. Don't get me wrong, it is very pretty...but as far as I'm concerned, at this point in time, the aesthetics are really all it's got going for it at the moment. There are several reasons for this...
1) Being one of the only people to inhabit the New Cross area for the majority of the christmas break, there are very few people around to play in the snow with...those who are here are 'snowed under' (hee hee...see what I did there?!) with coursework.
2) I also have a lot of coursework to do, but seem to find myself staring out of my window checking the current snow status rather than typing anything useful.
3) I am supposed to work tomorrow...which involves me battling from Lewisham to Covent Garden against delayed trains and buses to stand in a probably empty bar.
4) My house has the most inefficient heating system ever created.
But hey ho...on the plus side, it does look very pretty.
